Best Events in London This Half Term Weekend
It’s Half Term, and it’s the perfect time in Autumn to spend some quality family time and enjoy many of the exciting events that you can find around London. Here we’ve put together a list of some of the best events you can enjoy:
The View from The Shard
Ever been interested in climbing The Shard and seeing London from the Skyline? If you go this week (until the 30th October) 2 children go free with every paying adult. From the view you will be able to see the Houses of Parliament, the Tower of London, the London Eye and Buckingham Palace.
How to Hide a Lion
The Polka Theatre in Wimbledon is a theatre dedicated to Children, providing some of the best entertainment and educational shows for children in the South London district. Until February they will be running the ‘How to Hide a Lion’ show, about a girl trying to hide her pet lion in a variety of devious ways.
There are two versions available, one for 1-2 year olds, and a second for 3-4 year olds.
Pick Your Pumpkin
Fancy picking up your own pumpkin? Just a mile away from Upminster Station, at Strawberry Farm, you can pick up a pumpkin for just £1.
London Comic Con
It’s again the time of year for London’s Comic Con event. Dress up as your favourite characters and head down to the Excel centre for some amazing meet and greets, signings, and exclusive materials that can be purchased. There’s Youtubers, directors, animators, and many more.
