London Fashion Week 2017

Once again the streets of London will be filled with press, the most fashionable, and world-famous designers for London Fashion week this September. Again taking place in the BFC Show Space on the Strand, this years show will take place from the 14th – 19th September, in its new home for the second year running. 

There will be collections from both up-and-coming and establish designers taking to the runway. The show plays host to more than just runway shows, with this year many designers are experimenting with the ‘see now buy now principle’. Some are even partnering with companies such as Amazon to allow shoppers to buy the outfits just one hour after the runway show. This concept has developed following large retail chains, such as Zara and Top Shop, copying looks and styles from fashion shows before the brands are even able to sell them. 

You’ll be able to see the work of brands such as Jasper Conran, Burberry, Margaret Howell, Chalayan, and many more throughout the week. Don’t forget to also enjoy the pre-show and post-show ‘fashion shows’ on the streets of London, as London’s finest dressed will be hitting the streets near the event in the hope of getting swept up by photographers and journalism.
